After flying to Adelaide for last weekend’s Adelaide Hills’ Winter Reds Cellar Door Weekend, and back, I’ve finally had a moment to breathe, begrudgingly unpack my suitcase and fish out my SD card.
A month ago, I shared just how much I was looking forward to the Winter Reds Weekend. So much so that it was marked on my calendar with little Crayola Mini Stamper hearts. It didn’t disappoint.
Bring together a group of 18 girlfriends, add in a six-course Asian banquet, copious bottles of delicious Adelaide Hills wine, and throw in the very beautiful backdrop of Howard Vineyard in Nairne, and you have yourself the makings of a pretty awesome and indulgent day.
Howard Vineyard did a great job at hosting too, creating a relaxed, dinner party atmosphere. In fact, we were so comfortable that we wanted to take our very attentive bow-tied waiter home with us.
Essentially, there were lots of laughs and lots of iPhone snapping. The pictures tell the story…
Now that it’s a wrap on this year’s Winter Reds Weekend, I’ll be off to go buy a 2016 calendar so I can decorate next year’s date with my Mini Stampers!
